OUR 2025 ANNUAL REPORT
Dear Friends,
Looking back over our ninth year of service, I can hardly believe what we have achieved: that you, my community of Sweet Dream Makers, have come together to help more than 34,000 children, families, and vulnerable adults across all of South Florida!
From our early days as a social action program in Boca Raton, Sweet Dream Makers has grown to become a regionally serving organization. Today, we deliver beds across the tri-county area at the request of more than 220 social service agencies eager to help local children and families who have been sleeping on the floor or in other unsafe, unsanitary, or inappropriate conditions. For our simple, effective, and cost-efficient solution to this previously unmet community need, Sweet Dream Makers received the Non-Profit Organization of the Year: Innovation Award from 211 Broward.
This award really belongs to you, our supporters, partners, and stakeholders, who understand and invest in the importance of sleep as a basic need with long-term impacts. Though the cycles of poverty are complex, providing a child with a safe, clean, and comfortable place to dream of a better tomorrow is simple. Thanks to your support, we can get a child off the floor and into a bed of their own within a few days — providing them with access to the restorative sleep they need to focus in school, improve their behavior, and create a better future.
Requests from our agency partners have increased every year since we began, and 2025 was no different — last year we delivered 7,448 beds, averaging more than 620 beds per month. Thank you for making so many sweet dreams come true!!
As we look ahead, we hope we can continue to count on your support. And if you’re asking yourself, “What more can I do?”, I invite you to do what I did: tell a friend about how easy it is to help a child get off the floor and into a bed, and share the joy of changing a child’s life!
